Department
The Supply Chain Polymers department is responsible for planning, order handling, warehousing and distribution of around 3 Million ton of polymers in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply, inventory and transportation.
The Challenge
The main target of the research assignment is to develop a model which can be used for the optimal and safety stock calculations with the objective to create value across the supply chain.
